Be Sure In Unsure Times!

Praise the LORD beloved brethren of AIM Philippines!

We are so excited and encouraged after three long years of Covid travel restrictions to have returned to the beautiful Philippine islands to embrace our Apostolic brethren of like precious faith!

Our hearts are especially jubilant because of the wonderful Inter-District Convention (IDC) held December 26-29. It certainly was Times of Refreshing (Acts 3:19) and it was a beautiful opportunity to reinforce the spirit of unity and cooperation between our churches and our AIM brothers and sisters after the hardships of these past three years.

Elder Slage and I felt especially pressed upon in the Spirit to lay hands on and pray with anointing oil for many to receive the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We were also delighted and thankful for the much work that has been undertaken to restore our beautiful national headquarters following damages caused by the Super Typhoon with repairs to gutters and roofs and broken windows.

During the IDC we met daily with the ministering brethren to strengthen and encourage each other in faithful commitment to the Acts 2:38, One God message of salvation. In these ministry training sessions it is our aim to reinforce and demonstrate that AIM does indeed hold fast to the highest standards of integrity and holiness while continuing to focus on building unity of mind and message with each other.

It was during these meetings that we also set the date for the 2023 AIM National Convention, April 3-7, 2023.

Following the IDC, we traveled to Busay, Camotes, Cordova, Manila, and throughout Masbate and Negros. In addition to attending sectional fellowship meetings, we visited 19 churches to encourage and pray with pastors and their wives and congregations and to inspect both repairs and new construction of church buildings.

During our travels, we were greatly encouraged to witness the strength and resilience and unity our Lord Jesus has granted the faithful men, women, and young people of AIM. We know that only through this unity can God use us to fulfill His will in these last days. How exciting it is to know that God has kept us and strengthened us to bring us to such a time as this! It is indeed a privilege to be a soldier in the army of God and fight for this great Apostolic truth!

We are excited to see all of you again at the National Convention in April and we are expecting this coming convention to be the best ever! Since returning to America, I have given much thought and prayer to the theme for our upcoming convention, and I feel sure that it will be a powerful theme to build upon:

“Being Sure in Unsure Times!”

2 Peter 1:10 “give diligence to make your calling and election sure”

Certainly we are living in uncertain times, and yet we are a part of the Kingdom of God that cannot be shaken! Holding to Him, who is a nail in a sure place (Isaiah 22:23), we assuredly look ahead for greater things through the unfailing power and promises we have in Christ Jesus!

As we work together, pray together, preach together and worship together, we are looking for our LORD God to do even greater things in 2023!
